Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity or full name] ("Mneme", "we"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
Using Mneme
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You need to be at least 13 years old. Keep your account credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
What you save in Mneme stays yours. You give us the limited license we need to store it, process it, and display it back to you, including sending it to our AI provider for the summaries and connections the app is built on. We claim no other rights to it. Save only things you have the right to save.
AI output
Summaries, connections, and insights are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or oddly confident. They are a thinking aid, not advice. Check anything that matters before acting on it.
Mneme Plus
Mneme Plus is an auto-renewable monthly subscription (US $2.99 per month, pricing may vary by region) billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings; the subscription runs until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Don't use Mneme to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to probe or overload our systems, or to build a competing dataset by scraping. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ending things
You can delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue Mneme, we will give you notice and a way to export your data.
Disclaimers and liability
Mneme is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state / country], excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Mneme after that means you accept them.
